Ancestral - Healing

For many years now I have met, forgiven and healed many of my ancestors form Ireland. Doing shamanic work , especially journeys into the under and upper world, have acquainted me with many of my ancestors.  They “came” to visit with me in my living room in California.

In 1986 When I was offering a retreat: Meditation, Music, Mandalas and Movement, Spirit spoke to me through a mandala.  At the time I did not know what it meant, but now, years later, the meaning has unfolded.

It was a call to come to Ireland and to be a conduit and facilitator for ancestral healing. I will be creating and healing within a Spirit Wheel which is quite similar to the Medicine Wheel vision questors were introduced to for 14 years.

My own ancestors are from the West of Ireland.
Mom born in Cork, raised in Clare (Kilmihill).  
Dad from Clare near Cliffs of Moher (Miltown Malbay).

Mom and Dad were right off the boat through Ellis Island. They met and stayed in New York.  I joined them there in August in 1941, the second child and first daughter.  I remember my first trip to Ireland on a Cunard Liner in 1949.

As an adult I have traversed the USA teaching,(14 years junior high and high school); hospital chaplain; retreat director.  More recently in San Francisco Bay area, Native American Vision Quest guide to Death Valley (14 years); and transpersonal psychotherapist for 21 years.

I have also been student, admissions director, curriculum director,  professor and Dean at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology ( www.itp.edu), where I am still serving as Global Mentor. 1978 - 2007
